a charming semi-wooded retreat for children, and their families, affected by the trauma of brain cancer. working closely with the richi foundation, our aim is to create a peaceful architectural environment designed to accelerate healing, and provide places and opportunities to bridge the gap of loneliness many patients experience after their difficult cancer treatments.

the retreat will consist of seven buildings including a barn—activity center and dining hall, fitness center, two pools, a greenhouse, gardens, three cabins, and support staff apartments.
